How to Report Issues
If you see something that violates our policies, you can report it directly:
- •On listing pages: Click the "Report" link near the Apply button to report suspicious internships, scams, or policy violations
- •In messages: Use the report button within the messaging interface to flag harassment or inappropriate content
- •On organization pages: Report organizations that appear fraudulent or misrepresent themselves
- •General issues: Contact us with concerns that don't fit the above categories
How We Keep You Safe
🛡️ Verification System
Organizations can be domain-verified (matching email domain) or moderator-verified. Look for the green checkmark badge on verified organizations.
🔍 Community Moderation
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take action on violations including removing listings, suspending accounts, and banning repeat offenders.
🤖 Automated Detection
We use pattern detection to flag suspicious content including requests for payment, personal information harvesting, and known scam patterns.
💰 No Payments
All internships must be unpaid and educational. We never process payments, so there's no financial risk. Any listing requesting payment is against our policies and should be reported.
🚩 Red Flags to Watch For
- ⚠️Requests for payment, training fees, or "starter kits"
- ⚠️Asking for sensitive personal information (SSN, bank details, passport)
- ⚠️Promises of guaranteed paid positions after unpaid work
- ⚠️Vague job descriptions with no clear educational component
- ⚠️Pressure to make quick decisions or "act now"
- ⚠️Communication outside the platform before acceptance
