Safety & Trust
The platform is community-moderated. Every host organization is verified. Every report gets a human review.
How to report
If something violates our policies, report it. Three ways:
- On listing pages
- Click Report near the Apply button to flag suspicious internships, scams, or policy violations.
- Inside messages
- Use the report button in the messaging interface for harassment or inappropriate content.
- On organization pages
- Flag organizations that appear fraudulent or misrepresent themselves.
- Anything else
- Contact us for concerns that don't fit the categories above.
How we keep you safe
- Verification system
- Every host organization is domain-verified (matching email domain) or moderator-verified. Green checkmark badges are not decorative — they're earned.
- Community moderation
- Every report gets human review. Violations result in removed listings, suspended accounts, or bans for repeat offenders.
- Automated detection
- Pattern detection flags suspicious content: payment requests, personal-information harvesting, and known scam patterns.
- No payments, ever
- All internships are unpaid and educational. We never process payments. Any listing requesting payment is against policy and should be reported.
Red flags to watch for
- –Requests for payment, training fees, or "starter kits."
- –Asking for sensitive personal info (SSN, bank details, passport).
- –Promises of guaranteed paid positions after unpaid work.
- –Vague job descriptions with no clear educational component.
- –Pressure to make quick decisions or "act now."
- –Communication outside the platform before acceptance.
